Colt Diamondback .38

     This 2-1/2" 38 Special Colt Diamondback is very possibly unfired since it left the factory. There is no evidence of smoke rings on the front of the cylinder, and no scratching on the back of the cylinder or ejector. Bore is perfect. There is a faint drag line around the cylinder, due to someone either dry-firing or spinning the cylinder. There is a handling mark that looks like three little nicks in a row, below where the crane hinges on the frame, and a spot of staining on the bottom of the barrel lug. These can be seen in the last two photos. Other than what we mentioned, this would have been a 100% gun. However, one has to really scrutinize closely to see these mars, and the pistol appears PERFECT from more than about two feet away. Grips and checkering are perfect. Serial #D511XX
