John Martz P38 Pistol

John Martz was the custom gunbuilder specializing in Lugers and P38's starting from about 1968. This code AC41 Walther P38 in 9mm was customized in 1980 and was one of the first P38 customs completed by this well known custom maker. This particular pistol was featured in the Japanese magazine Gun in an article by "Jack" in 1983. Bakelite grips frame this mechanically perfect example. Metal work is flawless with tastefull graining and crisp edges everywhere they belong.
Bore and chamber retain excellent plus condition, with sharp, square rifling from front to back. The slide, barrel and frame fit together with very close tolerances, as would be expected from a hand-fitted custom such as this. "In the white," this early custom pistol represents a true value to the advanced collector of P38's and American custom guns. Includes the one magazine, as pictured.

This example offered at $2200 SOLD
