Perazzi Mirage 12 Bore

     This Perazzi Mirage 12 gauge Over/Under is in virtually perfect condition. Serial number 654XX weighs in at eight pounds, four ounces and balances about an inch behind the hinge pin. Length of pull is approx 14-1/4" from single gold non-selective trigger over a soft 1-1/4" pad and drop approx 1-1/8" at the heel. The black Decelerator recoil pad appears recently installed and is a bit proud of the wood. Buttstock and fore-end are in beautiful shape; under very close scrutiny, an occasional scratch or pressure mark can be discerned, as with just about any used gun. Barrels are 28-3/8" long, have shiny, bright 0.728" bores, 2-3/4" chambers and are choked 0.038" and 0.026.
     This gun's action is glassy-smooth with crisp ejectors, non-automatic safety and barrels that lock-up tight, with the top lever landing just a bit to the right of center. Metal finish is easily 99% with no detectable wear, dings, scratches or deterioration at the muzzle.
     The gun benefits from having seen only light use and great care in storage and cleaning. Overall, considering dimensions and excellent condition, this Perazzi represents a great value.
