Serial number 9321XX places production around 1941 and the condition is
stunningly nice! Swamped vent rib is in excellent shape and tight on the
barrel. Bore is crisp and shiny, has 2-3/4" chamber, full choke, and
measures 0.730" with 0.034" restriction at the choke. Metal finish is,
for all intents and purposes, perfect. Stock is made of a beautiful
piece of marble cake walnut, with 14-1/2" pull over a red Winchester pad
and approx 1-3/4" drop at the heel. Pistol grip is finished with a
contoured horn cap. Checkering and borders on the butt and fore end are
crisp and clean. Gun is tight and crisp mechanically and has a feel and
glow that makes us all want to own it!
